Designed by Eero Aarnio in 1963 and produced by Asko until 1985 and Adelta from 1991 to present, the Ball chair (a.k.a. Globe chair) is a classic in industrial design not only for its shape, but also for fulfilling the purpose of private space. The shell is of moulded fiberglass on a swivelling central leg, while the interior is upholstered and in the original version came with a telephone.
