Designed by Peter Opsvik in 1972 for Stokke, the norwegian Tripp Trapp chair is a chair that accommodates to a person from early age to adult, thanks to the adjustable configuration, both in height and depth. Tripp Trapp did not sell well in the beginning, but a news segment on Norwegian television in 1974 sparked an interest that has gained strength over the years. By 2016 Tripp Trapp had sold more than 10 million chairs.
