Invented in 1952 in New York by Julius Sämann, these iconic disposable air fresheners are shaped like a stylized evergreen tree, marketed for use in motor vehicles, and most commonly seen hanging from rear-view mirrors. They come in several colors and scents and the same trademark has different names in some countries in Europe.
Little trees have been featured in several movies, music videos and an art exhibition in 2009.
