Designed by Egmont Arens and produced since 1930’s by Hobart Corporation (now Whirlpool), the KitchenAid model “K” is about the most famous stand mixer. Its silhouette is so unique that it has been patented, while the accessory attachments that are hub-powered are compatible with all the different models from the 1930’s to today and viceversa. In 1997 the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art selected the KitchenAid stand mixer as an icon of American design.
