Designed in 1972 by Florian Seiffert (under the guidance of Dieter Rams) for Braun, The KF 20 Aromaster is an electric coffee machine that uses gravity to run boiling water through a coffee filter. The KF 20 was so innovative for its time that it was a huge inspiration to the makers that came after it. The cylindrical shape is minimal and functional, but also elegant and clean. Two metal bars keep the top cylinder together to the bottom, which is the base for the pot to gather newly brewed coffee and keep warm.
