Designed by Rietveld for Cassina in 1934. The Zigzag chair has a minimalistic design without legs, made by 4 flat wooden tiles that are merged in a Z-shape using Dovetail joints. The dimensions and angles are perfectly designed to balance the weight applied to it, but the Zig Zag chair is as much of an efficient piece of furniture as a it is an icon.
