Designed by Richard Sapper in 1972 for Artemide, Tizio is a lamp with a halogen bulb, previously only used in the automotive industry. Tizio can be adjusted thanks to two counterweights connected to two long sets of arms, also containing all the wiring. Tizio was selected for Compasso d’Oro (Golden Compass Award) in 1979 and is featured in MoMA and Metropolitan Museum of Arts.
