Designed by Alvar Aalto in 1933 and produced by Artek, the E60 stool became the first of Aalto’s furniture designs to go into serial production. It has a round birch seat made of layered laminate with white or black varnish and four hot-steam bowed legs, which are L-shaped to allow for easy stacking.
