Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1965 and produced since 1967 by Artemide, the Eclisse lamp is composed of 3 interlocking half spheres, where the inner one can be rotated to create an eclipse effect with the bulb.
The Eclisse was awarded the Golden Compass Award in 1967 and is a permanent piece at MoMA among others.
